Mixed-Media | Be mindful - An Art Journal {DT Cre8tive Cre8tions}

Im letzten Teil meiner kleinen Mini-Serie rund um Inspirationen zum Einsatz der tollen Clear Stamps von Andrea Gomoll | Cre8tive Cre8tions in Euren Mixed-Media & Art Journaling Projekten (klick hier für Teil 1 und hier für Teil 2) hatte ich Euch ja bereits eine erste Inspiration mit dem Stempelset "Mindfulness"* gezeigt. Irgendwie hat mich das Stempelset nicht losgelassen, zumal ich mit den Chakra-Symbolen nicht wirklich vertraut bin und ich mich ein wenig mehr informiert habe... und so ist die Idee zu einem kleinen Art Journal zu den sieben Chakra-Symbolen, die Ihr auch auf der Stempelplatte findet, entstanden.

 In the last part of my mini-series with inspirations how you can use clear stamps in your daily mixed-media and art journaling practice (click here for part 1 and here for part 2) I showed you already an inspiration with Andrea Gomoll's| Cre8tive Cre8tions clear stamps set "Mindfulness*. Through the last days I was thinking a lot of the stamp set especially the shown Chakra-Symbols... I didn't know a much abou the symbols and started a internet search... resulting from this the idea of a little art journal inspired by the seven Chakra symbols was born.

Im Fundus habe ich noch dieses kleine Journal von Faber-Castell gefunden. Es hat 5 Seiten aus Mixed-Media tauglichen Papieren und eine etwas dickere Vorder- und Rückseite... also perfekt geeignet. Für meine Titelseite habe ich mich für eine Collage als Hintergrund entschieden... dazu habe ich etwas Tissue Paper sowie die gestempelten Chakra-Symbole verwendet. Um die Collage aber nicht allzu wuchtig werden zu lassen, habe ich die Symbole mit StazOn auf Pergamentpapier gestempelt... ... zusätzlich habe noch die Bedeutung der Symbole auf kleine Papierstreifen gestempelt... hier reicht ein kleiner Rest gebrauchten Druckerpapiers.

In my stash I found a little art journal by Faber-Castell consiting of five page mixed-media like paper and a thicker front and back page... just perfect. For the title page I collaged some tissue paper by Tim Holtz as well as deli paper whre I stamped the Chakra symbols using StazOn ink. In addition I stamped also the meaning of the symbols on some stripe of printer paper and glued them also down on my page.

Um die Symbole habe ich dann noch Kreise gezogen und sie in in Ihrer jeweiligen Farbe mit Neocolor II Crayons koloriert... und wenn ich sie richtig identifiziert habe, ergibt sich die folgende Zuordnung:

Around the symbols I made som circles and colored them in the color of the respective CHakra symbol using water-soluble Neocolor II crayons... and if I identified the symbols in the right way there the symbols corresponds to color as follows:

Chakra-Symbole & Farben | Chakra symbols & color

1. Wurzel- (Root-) Chakra - Rot (Red)
2. Sakral- (Sacral) Charka - Orange (Orange)
3. Solarplexus (Solar Plexus-) Chakra - Gelb (Yellow)
4. Herz- (Heart-) Chakra - Grün (Green)
5. Hals- (Throat-) Chakra - Hellblau (Light blue)
6. Stirn oder Dritte Auge (Third Eye-) Chakra - Indigoblau und (Indigo blue)
7. Kronen- (Crown-) Chakra - Weiß/Gold  (White/Gold) wie in meinem Fall oder Violett (Violet)

Aber keine Angst, hier wird es auf keinen Fall esoterisch... :-).. Ich dachte eine kleine Farbhilfe kann aber auf keinem Fall schaden. Den Raum zwischen den Symbolen habe ich zunächst mit wasserlöslichen Medien, heute Gelatos und Neocolor II Crayons, in verschiedenen Grautönen und etwas Gold ausgefüllt und abschließend mit weißer Acrylfarbe verblendet.

The blog will be not esoteric in the future... I thought that it would be nce to have small list to know the corresponding color to the symbols. The space between the symbols I colored using water-soluble media like Gelatos by Faber-Castell and Neocolor II crayons in different shades of grey and a little gold shimmer. After coloring I blended them out using white acrylic paint.

Zum Kolorieren der kleinen Lady habe ich diesmal nur die Neocolor II Crayons verwendet. Und damit der Post nicht noch länger wird hier noch fix zwei Detailfotos:

For coloring the girl I used only Neocolor II crayons. And beore the post will be find no end, here two detail photos of the girl.
