Hallo zusammen,

schön, dass Ihr vorbeischaut… neuer Monat neuer Sketch... und wie gewohnt gibt es heute einen neuen Sketch bei Let’s get Sketchy.

Hi, thanks for stopping by…new month, new skch017…ist the first day of the new month... time for a new sketch by Let’s get Sketchy.

Und weil sie so schön sind und ich zwei Bögen an Blümchen aus geschnippelt hatte, kommen auch hier (wie beim Sketch vom 15. Oktober) nochmal Patterned Paper der  „Turn the Page“-Kollektion von Paige Evans für Pink Paislee zum Einsatz.

As I love the flowers and patterned papers from the  „Turn the Page“ Collection by Page Evans for Pink Paislee… I used them again (see my mid-October layout here).

Hi, thanks for stopping by... October, 15th 2017... welcome, after a short break from myside it's time again to play along with a new sketch by Let's get Sketchy.

Und als Blumenfan konnte für mich natürlich kein Weg an der "Turn the Page"-Kollektion von Paige Evans für Pink Paislee vorbeiführen. Und so hat für dieses Layout meine Schere beim Ausschnippeln der kleinen Blüten viel zu tun gehabt.

As a flower Lover, I had to work with the "Turn the Page" Collection by Page Evans for Pink Paislee... and I love to cut out Little Things like flowers from patterned paper.

Es ist auch mein erstes Layout bei dem meine neue Nähmaschine zum Einsatz kam... mein Mann hat sie mir in der letzten Woche mitgebracht. Es ist keine super teure Maschine, aber sie ist für mich als Anfänger so toll geeignet. Wenn ich gewusst hätte, dass es gar nicht so schwierig ist mit der Nähmaschine zu nähen, hätte ich es schon viel früher gemacht...

And on this layout used the first time my new sewing machine to sew on paper. I got the machine last week from my hubby.. it's not an expensive one, but for me, as a beginner it is easy to work with.

Layout | Here... { DT Scrapbook Werkstatt & DT Let's get Sketchy}

Schön, dass Ihr vorbeischaut... heute ist der 15te des Monats und damit wird es wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Let's get Sketchy.  Gleichzeitig kann ich Euch heute aber auch mein erstes Projekt mit dem spätsommerlich-farbenfrohen September-Kit der Scrapbook-Werkstatt zeigen.

Hi, thanks for stopping by... August, 15th 2017... welcome, it's time to play along with a new sketch by Let's get Sketchy. At the same time I can show you the first project made with the Scrapbook-Werkstatt Semptember-Kit.

Auch heute gibt es wieder eine Kombination aus Sketch und Moodboard... insbesondere habe ich mich durch die Farben des Moodboard - pink, blau und gelb - inspirieren lassen

Today my inspiration is inspired by the sketch as well as the mid-month moddboard especially the pink, blue and yellow color of the moodboard.

Für mich als Blumenfan sin die blumigen Patterned Paper aus der Carousel-Kollektion wie Rose Park* wie für mich gemacht... ich mag es total gerne die blumigen Motive einfach Freihand auszuschneiden und neu anzuordnen.

Und auf diesem Layout habe ich auch ein wenig tifer in die Gold-Kiste gegriffen... neben Pailleten aus dem Embellishment-Set habe ich Gold auch für meinen Titel, in Form von Puffy Phrase Stickers von Crate Paper aus dem SBW August-Kit, eingesetzt.

Für mein Layout habe ich diesmal das A4 Format gewählt... ich mag diese Abwechslung zwischen den  verschiedenen Formaten in unseren Alben sehr gern. Neben weißen Cardstock habe ich mit der farbenfrohen "Aloha"-Kollektion des Scrapbook-Werkstatt aus dem Juli-Kit gearbeitet. Den Titel habe ich einfach mit einer Buchstabenschablone von Dear Lizzy "geschrieben" und das Journaling befindet sich diesmal, dezent mit Bleistift geschrieben, am unteren Rand.

For today's layout I used white cardstock A4 format... I love the different formats, A4 and 12x12 Inch, in our albums. For the layout I used the colorful "Aloha" collection by Scrapbook-Werkstatt from the July-Kit. The title I wrote by means of a alphabet stencil by Dear Lizzy... and the journaling you will find on the bottom of the page. For writing I used a graphite pencil.

Schön, dass Ihr vorbeischaut... heute ist der Monatserste und damit wird es wieder Zeit für eine neue Sketch- & Moodboard Challenge bei Let's get Sketchy.  

Hi, thanks for stopping by... June, 1th 2017... welcome, it's time to play along with a new sketch by Let's get Sketchy with a fantastic sketch and today also a moodboard.

An dieser Stelle muss ich gestehen, dass ich mich mit dem Moodboard sehr schwer getan habe... Rot & Blau sind zwei Farben,die richtig weit außerhalb meiner Komfortzone liegen... Und so habe ich mich schlußendlich auf andere Elemente des Moodboards bei meinem Layout konzentriert... am Ende habe ich mich für ein Schwarz-Weiß-Foto, die Schuhe und Muster als Inspirationen entschieden.

The moodboard of today's challenge was really challenging for me... red & blue are colors that at totally out of my comfort zone and so I decided to go with a black & white photo of shoes and the patterns of the moodboard as inspiration.

Am Ende hat es doch dann etwas rot und blau auf mein Layout gebracht, wenn es auch sehr dezente Töne sind.... verwendet habe ich Patterned Paper aus der "Live more"-Kollektion von Pink Fresh Studio aus dem SBW Mai-Kit und die dazu passendedn Die Cuts und ein paar Stempel.

But I ended up also with some leight reds & blues on my layout from the pattern paper from the "Live more" collection by Pink Fresh Studio and the coordination die cuts. And today I used some stamps again.

Hi, thanks for stopping by... June, 15th 2017... welcome, it's time to play along with a new sketch by Let's get Sketchy with a fantastic sketch.

Ebenso wie der Sketch habe ich das LAyout im 12x12 Inch Format entschieden und mich dabei von den Hauptelementen des Sketches inspirieren lassen.

As the sketch I made a 12x12 inch layout inspired by the main elements of the sketch like the paper and embelishment cluster.

Für das heutige Layout habe ich das farbenfrohe April-Kit der Scrapbook-Werkstatt verwendet  und dabei vor allem die Die Cuts von Fancy Pants Design und die Enamel Dots verwendet.

For the layout I used the colorful April-kit by Scrapbook-Werkstatt with Die Cuts by Fancy Pants Design and some Enamel Dots with a heart shape.

Making your DIY patterned Paper using Distress stamp pads and stamps

Für das DIY Patterned Paper  habe ich auf weißen Cardstock mit Distress Stempelkissen und einer Plastikfolie etwas Stempelfarbe im Watercolor Look aufgebracht und dann einfach mit verschiedenen Stempeln bestempelt. Dabei habe ich nicht besonders darauf geachtet, ob der Stempel immer 100tig abstempelt. Hier und da habe ich den Stempel auch zweimal abgestempelt um das Patterned Paper durch den unterschiedlich starken Farbabdruck ein wenig aufzulockern.

For the DIY patterned paper I used Distress ink pads in different colors and some stamps. First I used a plastic foil and the stamp pads to bring a watercolor look to my white cardstock. Afte drying I stamped the pattern in the color to the cardstock. Sometime I stamped twice... so you can get fresher look.

Aus dem DIY Patterned Paper habe ich anschließend Kreise in unterschiedlicher Größe ausgestanzt. Um die Größe des gestickten Kreise den ausgestanzten anzupassen, habe ich zum vorzeichen einfach die entsprechende Stanze verwendet.

Finally I punched some circles from my DIY patterned paper using dies in differen sizes and the big shot. To sketch the circles on the papge I used the used dies. So you get a circle in the corresponding size fro stitching.

Wie die Zeit vergeht... nun ist auch schon wieder der Mai vorüber und es ist Zeit für eine neue Sketch-Challenge bei Let's get Sketchy.  

June, 1th 2017... welcome, it's time to play along with a new sketch by Let's get Sketchy with a fantastic sketch.

Neben Moodboards sind Sketche eine meiner liebsten Inspirationsquellen (hier bei Pinterest sammle ich Sketch, die mir besonders gut gefallen)... Sketche, Moodboards... Was ist Deine liebste Inspiratiosquelle? Nachdem diesem Sketch ist das heutige Layout entstanden.

Do you like sketches? Here on Pinterest you will find my board where I collect sketches which I like for later inspiration.... Sketches, Moodboards... what do you like most as an inspiration for you scrapbook layout? Here the sketch used for today's layout.

Für das heutige Layout habe ich das April-Kit der Scrapbook Werkstatt, weißen Cardstock, Stempel von Create a Smile Stamps und Stempeltinte sowie verschiedenfarbiges Stickgarn verwendet.

For the layot I used the April-Kit by Scrapbook-Werkstatt, white cardstock, stamps by Create a Smile Stamps und stamp ink as well as thread in different colors.

Making fussy cutting flower elements using flower stamps

Für die Blütenelemente habe ich Stempel in verschiedenen Größen verwendet und diese mit Diestress Ink in Antique Linen zweimal abgestempelt. Für den ersten Abdruck habe ich Schmierpapier verwendet und den zweiten Abdruck habe ich dann auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. So ist der Abdruck sehr dezent und man sieht ihn Kaum nach dem Sticken der Blüten. Den Abdruck habe ich dann vorgestochen mit meinem Priecing Tool und anschließend ausgestickt. Zum Schluss habe ich die Blüte einfach mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Bei den Farben habe ich mich an den Patterned Paper von Amy Tangerine aus dem April-Kit orientiert. Für die Mitte der Blüte habe ich diese verschiedenfarbig abgestempelt und ausgeschnitten und mit einem Glue Dot auf der gestickten Blüte befestigt.

For the flower elements I used today flower stamps in different sizes and Distress Ink in Antique Linen. I stamped twice: the first time on a scrap piece of printer paper and the second one on white cardstock. With this the stamp is really light stamped and hardly to see after stitching above stamped image. For stitching I used thread in different colors coordinating with the patterned paper by Amy Tangerine from the "On a whim" collection. The middle of the flowers I stamped in different colors using VersaColor stamp pads and cutted out the inner circle and glued these circles on  my stitched flowers using glue dots.

Herzlich Willkommen zu einer neuen Challenge bei Let's get Sketchy. Heute mit einem tollen Sketch.

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

lasst uns den Mai kreativ mit einer  neuen Sketch-Challenge bei Let's get Sketchy starten.
Welcome, let's start May creatively with a new sketch-challenge by Let's get Sketchy.

Nach dem Sketch ist ein Layout voll mit Embellishments und Papieren aus einer meiner Lieblingskollektion, "Note & Things" von Crate Paper entstanden. Zugegebener Maßen habe ich mir an der ein oder anderen Stelle bei der Umsetzung ein wenig kreative Freiheit gegönnt... :-)

For today's sketch I used tons of embellishments as well as patterned paper from one of my favorite collections, the "Note & Things" collection by Crate Paper. As you can see I used the sketch as a guideline for my layout and here & there I gave me a little bit of creative freedom.

Und falls Ihr das Journaling vermisst... dies habe ich in er kleinen Pergamintüte unter dem Papier-Cluster versteckt... eine Idee, die ich vor einiger Zeit bei Janna entdeckt und schon einmal (klick hier) so ähnlich umgesetzt habe.

You are missing my journaling? It's there, but hidden... I like to work with hiddeen journaling... this time I putted the journaling in the little paper bg behind my paper cluster... an idea discovered some time ago at Janna's blog and I already used on another layout - click here.

Layout | Life unscripted {DT Let's get Sketchy}

Es ist Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Let's get Sketchy. Heute ihr auf dem Blog ein wundervolles, frühlingshaftes Moodboard und einen tollen Sketch.

It's time to play with the mid-april challenge at Let's get Sketchy with a fantastic spring-like moodboard and/or sketch.

Für mein Layout im A4 Format habe ich mich vor allem durch die Frühlingsfarben inspirieren lassen.
The layout is mainly inspired by the spring-like colors of the moodboard.

Verwendet habe ich Patterned Paper und Die Cuts aus der Kollektion "Live More" von Pinkfresh Studio, Momentstempel, Stempel von Studio Calico und etwas weißes Garn.

For the layout I used Patterned Paper and Die Cuts by Pinkfresh Studio, Momentstempel, stamps by Studio Calico as well as white thread.

Am Ende ist sehr geometrisches Layout entstanden, für das ich hauptsächlich mit Kreisen und Vierecken gearbeitet und Cluster gebildet habe. Das Journaling ist heute sehr persönlich, so dass h es erst nach dem Fotographieren unter der Rubrik "Just a note" eingefügt habe.

At the end I ended with a highly geometric layout. From the geometric elements like circles I made some clusters putting on different places at the layout. The journaling this time is really personnel and so I Decoder to write it as "Just a note" after I took the pictures.
